These terms apply to the use of the website lucerneboattrip.com. Lucerne Boat Trip is an independent guide to boat trips on Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland: the short cruises from Lucerne, the scheduled boats to the lake villages, and the mountain excursions that start on the water. We do not sell cruises, tickets or tours ourselves.

Who sells your tour

If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the GetYourGuide website with GetYourGuide or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.

Prices and availability

Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide before booking are binding.

Weather, timetables and boats

Boats on the lake run to timetables that change with the season, and a storm, high water or low cloud can change a sailing, close a mountain railway or hide the peaks for a whole day. A ship can be swapped for another, and a route can be shortened. No one can promise a particular vessel, a clear view of the Alps or a sunset. Which boat, deck and departure you get is set by the ticket or listing you book and by the operator, so read its details before you pay.
